Interior Designer

Are you passionate about the power of great design? Do you relish the opportunity to lead a team through the design process? Do you enjoy client interaction and working with them to create the best design for their needs? If so, STG Design is the right place for you!

STG Design is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our Austin office. 

You Excel at:

• Researching interior products
• Developing conceptual ideas and space plans
• Generating compelling visual and descriptive materials for client presentations
• Producing contract documents using Revit 2017 or newer


The Musts: 

• Interior Design or Architectural degree
• 3 to 7 years of commercial interior design experience in one or more of the following project types: corporate/commercial
office, tenant improvement, urban multi-family, student housing, hospitality, institutional
• Ability to work efficiently with a highly collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong Revit skills and ability to model complex 3D geometry (we are committed to delivering all projects in Revit!)
• Management experience is a plus
• LEED accreditation is a plus
• Furniture experience is a plus

Interior Designer - Furniture

STG Design is looking for an Interior Designer with 3+ years of contract furniture experience to join our Austin office.

You Excel at:

• Researching furniture manufacturers and products
• Compiling furniture budget pricing
• Understanding Government purchasing contracts
• Developing conceptual ideas and furniture space plans
• Creating furniture specifications and bid packages (Designer Pages experience a plus)
• Producing contract documents using Revit 2017 or newer
• Managing clients through the design, specification, bid and installation processes
• Coordinating team members and vendors
• Generating furniture design packages for client presentations
• Conducting construction administration


The Musts: 

• Interior Design or Architectural degree
• 3+ years of commercial interior design experience in contract furniture
• Strong Revit skills and ability to model complex 3D geometry (we are committed to delivering all projects in Revit!)
• Ability to work efficiently with a highly collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task to achieve deadlines on multiple projects
• Strong production skills
• LEED accreditation is a plus

Interior Designer
