Working with and in our community is an essential part of who we are as a company. Philanthropy is a core value that strengthens our bond with each other as well as those we serve in our communities.
STG Design has pledged to provide support to organizations that benefit the markets we serve through volunteerism, in-kind services, and corporate contributions.
As a community partner, we share our expertise in design, preservation, and sustainability to help communities and institutions prosper by:
Partnering with non-profit organizations to provide planning, programming, and design.
Promoting education in our communities about sustainable design and supporting the design industry and our clients in this effort.
HOW WE GIVE BACK
Volunteering Commitment – We are committed to helping organizations with hands-on employee involvement as well as projects where we can provide our expertise.
Sponsorships – Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations on community and business events.
Community Leadership Gifts – Providing gifts to charitable organizations on whose board an employee serves.
Grants – Supporting programs fostering access to education, sustainability, and the preservation of our environment
OUR FIRM IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO THE FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS:
The Refuge Ranch is a long-term, residential, therapeutic community and foster placement agency for 48 girls, minors through age 19, who have been rescued from sex traffickers. STG Design is teamed up with the Refuge to design the interiors for the girls' cottages so they can continue to accomplish their mission to create a safe place for some of these 79,000 youth victims in Texas.
BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS
STG Design truly believes in the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission to “inspire and enable all young people,” so it was exciting when we had the opportunity to help design their “Home Club” with that goal in mind. STG provided pro bono design concepts for both the interior and exterior, creating a bright and fun atmosphere for both kids and staff to enjoy. These ideas were later presented using virtual reality to help Boys & Girls Club secure the funds they need to make this facility a reality. The new flagship facility is a budget-friendly building that will potentially serve thousands of kids in northeast Austin over the lifetime of the Club.
COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE
Community First! Village is a 27-acre master planned community that provides affordable, sustainable housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. STG Design is currently donating time and services for the design of our second “tiny home." Click below to learn more about how this community is transforming Central Texas.
MEALS ON WHEELS
STG Design has worked with Meals on Wheels for nearly 20 years delivering meals every week for seniors and adults with disabilities. We support their mission to seek to nourish and enrich the lives of the homebound and other people.
