It includes 30,000 square feet of office and laboratory space, a 115,000-square-foot climate-controlled warehouse, and a 10-acre laydown yard for equipment staging and logistics. The facility supports rapid deployment of 70-ton mobile substations, enhancing grid resilience and emergency response capabilities.
The design prioritizes sustainability and occupant wellness, targeting Austin Green Building 3-Star and WELL Silver certifications. Key features include a rainwater harvesting system for irrigation, shaded outdoor gathering areas, and a fruit orchard that fosters biodiversity and provides a restorative environment for staff.
