In 2020, STG Design teamed with CBRE to respond to the Austin Energy Service Center Request For Proposal. STG Design services included preliminary site planning, building design, sustainable design scoring analysis, and marketing renderings for the RFP. This project consisted of a 30,000 square-foot service center office and 100,000 square-foot warehouse with service vehicle cross dock. Features included a 24-foot high bay warehouse with 50 feet column spacing, solar panels with on-site energy storage, rain collection system for landscape irrigation, and native, long-lasting building materials.
