Employees Retirement System - 1836 San Jacinto

Client

The 1836 San Jacinto building is located on the northeast edge of the Capitol Master Plan District, at the intersection of San Jacinto Street and Marin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. This development is funded as a real estate investment for clients of the Employees Retirement System (ERS) of Texas, providing an additional layer of security for their financial future. The 400,000 sf, 10-story Class A office building includes large retail spaces on the ground level totaling about 14,000 sf, one level of below-grade parking, three levels of above-grade parking, and five levels of office space available for tenants above that. The project also incorporates a skybridge connection at Level 6 to the existing ERS building on the other half of the site, and a conference center and large, outdoor terrace on the 9th floor. The project pursued and achieved LEED® Gold certification.
