STG Design, as part of a design-build team with Turner Construction, designed this LEED Certified 3-story pre-cast and glass building using flexible floor plates and offices. This complex supports 1,100 Federal and contractor employees. It includes a 365-seat sloped floor auditorium, full-service cafeteria, medical facility for outpatient treatment, conference and visitor’s center, as well as meeting spaces for administration. This project was the winner of the ENR Regional Best Project in the Government/Public Building, 2018, and required coordination with the DOE/NNSA/CNS and had Q Clearance security requirements. With a fast-track schedule and multiple package delivery, this project beat the established schedule and no liquidated damages were assessed.
