The space includes a 55,000 sf elementary school, a 50,000 sf middle school and 57,000 sf high school. The elementary, middle and high school serve nearly 1,800 students - 380, 600, 770, respectively. The overall project included master planning for the site with a regulation-sized soccer field, basketball courts and other playground/recreational areas for each level of schooling. An indoor, two-court gymnasium and integral performance stage serves all three schools. Although each school is housed within one building, each phase has its own identity and separation, incorporating its own classrooms, science labs and administrative offices. Phase II incorporated the kitchen and cafeteria while Phase III incorporated the campus’ library. STG Design previously assisted with the preparation of a master plan for previous sites and the new school. This project won an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders & Contractors Central Texas Chapter.
