Completed in 2021, the North Austin Complex (NAC), will serve as a central anchor in the Texas Facilities Commission’s campus vision, and new headquarters of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). The state-of-the-art complex stands as a hub for innovation, embodying a twenty-first century, multi-disciplinary organization while enhancing the work environment for state employees.

Located in the active area of north central Austin and near Triangle Park, the NAC is seamlessly integrated within an existing network of state facilities. The complex’s design emphasizes interactive workspaces that facilitate the exchange of ideas among HHSC employees. Now fully operational, the campus includes a 9-story tower supporting approximately 1,900 full-time employees. The tower is equipped with advanced training facilities, a comprehensive health clinic, a fitness center, and diverse dining options, all designed to promote a vibrant and healthy workplace. Additional features include a modern data center, office and conference spaces, a central utility plant, and parking structure with capacity for 1,850 vehicles.
As the NAC continues to evolve, it serves as a testament to the Texas Facilities Commission's foresight and HHSC's commitment to enhancing public service through strategic collaboration and workplace innovation.
