The 17-story high-rise is one of the largest student housing buildings with approximately 219 units (753 beds) and over 650 parking spaces. Amenities in the project include a 500 seat dining hall with full commercial kitchen and food servery, lounge & gaming area, computer center and theater at the street level. At the top of the parking structure there is a 2,500 sf fitness center and outdoor pool and sun deck that overlook the campus.

A quieter “Study Deck” is located away from these active areas and enjoys great views back to downtown. The project is located within the City of Austin’s “University Neighborhood Overlay” zoning, which allows increased height and density in exchange for urban design requirements as well as an affordable housing component. Accelerated construction of the Callaway House Austin allowed for occupancy three months ahead of schedule. The project is LEED Certified.
