The project scope includes the Austin MLS practice field bleacher seating as well as the Pitch conference center overlooking Parmer Pond. The conference center is one of the few commercial rammed earth buildings in Austin, Texas. The butterfly roof sheds water away from the building's north and south patios, channeling it into the adjacent Parmer Pond, and retractable glazing across the full length of each patio allows the space to become a front and back porch for the site, with direct sightlines to Parmer Field and across the pond. As the building serves both meetings inside and performances outside, the space maintains the ability to be activated day and night supporting the surrounding community, office park, and sports facilities.
