The first building, the Public Interface Facility, approximately 140,000 sf, is the campus’ front door. 

The building showcases a visitor’s center, auditorium, demonstration lab and office support. The Production Support Facility is organized into three basic wings that share core elements and building services at the intersections of each wing. This provides ultimate flexibility and efficiency for planning purposes. The shape of the buildings form a protected courtyard for outdoor activities or views from dining and office areas while using natural daylighting to fill the interior spaces adjacent to the courtyard.

This project required coordination with the DOE/NNSA/CNS and had Q Clearance security requirements. As a campus project with a fast-track schedule and  multiple package delivery, this project beat the established schedule and no liquidated damages were assessed.
